Do you need a soul comeback?
Sometimes the most comfortable place to be is exactly where we are. I get a bit nostaglic about places I’ve been in my heart that are no longer a part of my present. I recall parts of my wilderness times and long for the feeling of getting pulled out by Jesus.
I want to experience that feeling today.
God doesn’t intend us to stay where we are. He wants us to have a soul comeback, to be better than we were yesterday.
Do you remember how you felt when you were rescued from the middle of nowhere? Before Jacob could go back to Bethel, back to a place of remembrance, he had to bury some things. Jacob and his household had to get rid of stuff.
What do you have to get rid of today to make a soul comeback?
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. – Proverbs 3:5-6
