You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:11
No doubt this week you are preparing for a festive Thanksgiving. My husband and I will be preparing a more intimate dinner at home as we cradle our newborn in our arms while trying not to have a tryptophan attack of epic proportions. I love me some turkey and some mean tamales.
My annual tamalada (tamale making party) has been postponed for good reason. Maybe someone will make me some with leftover stuffing. Hint, hint!
If you’ve been following my personal life a bit over on Facebook, we welcomed our sweet little girl into the world on Monday, November 7th. It was my first day of vacation in preparation for her arrival, but alas God’s plans are always different.
I’ve been recovering, resting, and nourishing our little one. It’s been 11 years since I’ve had a tiny baby around. Wowzers! My daughter is 16, my son is 11, and now our newborn. Each of them is a mighty blessing.
As each of us sits at the table this Thursday for an evening of thanks and praise, I hold you, my reader, in my thoughts and prayers. I am thankful for your support, your time, and the beautiful comments you bless me with each week.
As such, I’d love to offer you my Gratitude Journal or Pages of Reflection. Download to keep or give away. Click here: JOURNAL
Have a blessed and beautiful Thanksgiving, friends. You are on my heart.
