Choosing My Best Yes!

community Faith Writing

Hey friends (and very new friends),

Thanks for your support and encouragement. You are the best.

There has been some major happenings going on at Cisneros Cafe.  Can I just give a shout out to God for how amazing He’s been and for the blessings that have blossomed before me?  May I never lose sight of why this is all happening.

What message does my Lord have for His servant?  Joshua 5:14

I’ll be scaling back a bit here at the cafe.  I might not be able to make it in for my weekly Tuesday mocha with you until fall arrives.  I’m also prayerfully considering halting Walk With Me Wednesday as well.  You’ll still get a great dose of guests to close out March.

This is love: That we walk in obedience to His commands.  2 John 1:6

What’s going on!?

Lots.  Oh my word, I’m over the moon.

  1. Book Proposal Writing – It’s time to make more of a dent in this and it needs to be at the forefront since I will be attending She Speaks this summer where I will need to present it to a publisher.
  2. Iron Group Leader – What I have been praying about since I joined Compel Training has come to fruition.  This group of women will keep me on my toes as we all prayerfully walk together in this writing ministry.
  3. She Speaks – July 2016 can’t get here fast enough (or maybe it can).  She Speaks is a great writers/speakers conference I cannot wait to attend. It is an important part of my writing and faith journey.
  4. Book Writing – Wait!  That’s not the same as a proposal?  Nope!  I actually have to get some chapters finished. This book can’t write itself, amigas.

That’s it, tied in a neat little bow sprinkled with tiny rainbows of paranoia. Spring has arrived and I’m a little behind.  Okay. A lot behind!

While out and about yesterday I realized spring came out of nowhere. Summer will do the same.

For now, I’ll hang out with you on Mondays to host  Open Mic Monday for the soul, our community link up, because I love seeing your wonderful faces and reading your amazing posts.

Let’s Pray:

God, thank you for your instruction.  Thank you for placing people in our lives that encourage us to move forward in your word and in your light. You tell us that whatever we do, to work at it with all of our heart. May my heart give you glory when it gets tough so I know it is you trying to teach me something about who YOU are. Thank you, Jesus.

In your name, I pray.  Amen.
